EMBLETON PLAY PARK ASSOCIATION

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 20 July 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We are a group of 3 mothers who came together to form a group to raise funds to install a much needed new playpark into our rural village. In October 2008 we were successful in installing the first phase of the park. It has become the main focal point in the village and is used by local and visiting children, the local pre-school group and school. We are still fundraising for more equipment.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
