YOUNG SINGERS WELFARE FOUNDATION
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 24 March 2014. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Young Singers' Welfare Foundation supports UK-based professional classical singers under the age of 40 who suffer financial hardship as a result of a serious medical condition or illness. The support given is in the form of either a one-off grant, or payment for items, services or facilities, and we also operate a referral service to other organisations who may be able to assist an applicant.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
