COMMUNITY RESETTLEMENT SUPPORT PROJECT LIMITED

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 23 February 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

CRSP provides befriending and support to 120 men each year as they leave HM Prison Bedford and resettle in the communities of Bedfordshire, Luton and North Hertfordshire. Befriending is provided by volunteers recruited from faith communities who begin their role after vetting and comprehensive training. CRSP works closely with HMP Bedford staff and resettlement agencies.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
