NORTH WALES REPTILE AND RAPTOR SANCTUARY

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 2 May 2019. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

NWRR is a sanctuary for birds of prey and reptiles, both wild and captive bred. Animals coming into the sanctuary can be in very poor condition and in need of extensive veterinary help and our remit is to get these back to good health and then try to find suitable re-homes. We also educate: authorities, the publicand retailers to the complex, needs of these animals and the long term commitment.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
