LONGBENTON COMMUNITY ACTION TEAM
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 10 March 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity is set up to develop the capacity and skills of the community of the socially and economically disadvantaged community of Longbenton. In such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society. LCAT engages in dialogue with residents using our listening survey which is a simple but effective tool of community engagement.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
