IT SKILLS 4 RURAL KENYA
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 16 September 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We send computers to Kenya, recruit and train volunteers too from diverse backgrounds in the UK before assigning them to teach IT skills in Kenya. We have succeeded in networking 2 villages in Kenya and our vision for the next 5 years is to expand to 193 other villages, a project that will require 20,000 computers, 1000 volunteers and will impact approximately 2 million Kenyans.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
