THE EXPEDITIONARY TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 3 June 2019. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Trust was established to promote a better understanding of the social welfare and logistics elements of the British Expeditionary Force in the Great War and their impact on the ordinary soldiers involved. There is considerable on going fund raising activity to support the mounting of an exhibitions in France in support of the above objectives.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
