SOUNDMIX
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 14 May 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Soundmix's key objective is the promotion of social inclusion among young refugees and asylum seekers by providing structured music and arts learning. Soundmix's clients are mainly young teenagers and many are newly-arrived in the UK and without family support. We introduce them to playing instruments and musical composition and we also help them adjust to their new circumstances.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
