ORPHANS OF GHANA
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 30 January 2018. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Orphans of Ghana is set up by volunteers who lived in Ghana supporting orphans. We work with three specific orphanages who try and home hundreds of abandoned, poor and orphaned children aged a few days-18 years old. We aim to improve the lives of all Ghanaian orphans by providing support in health, education and most importantly, providing them with the tools to help themselves.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
