THE PAUL MCCANN FUND FOR NEEDY CHILDREN
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 17 December 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity raises funds from general donations, sponsored marathons, and annual social events such as the Charity Ball and a cricket fixture against the Royal Navy. Grants are made by the charity, to both individuals and other charitable organisations, to provide holidays and adventure trips for young people in need, or with disabilities, and for the purchase of equipment to enhance their lives
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
