BRIGHT FUTURES AUTISM LIMITED

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 5 June 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We promote the physical and mental health of people with autism by providing support, education and practical advice. We do this through facebook groups, conference presentations and mediums such as the 'notnigellanotjamie' blog. We have established Bright Futures School which, after successful Ofsted inspected, is now formally registered by the DfE as a special school for children with autism.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
