THE DAVID SHEPHERD CRICKET FOUNDATION
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 3 February 2014. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity was set up in memory of the late cricket umpire David Shepherd who was born and bred in Devon. The charity raises money in order to pay for the coaching of young cricketers who will hopefully develop to play for Devon and maybe first class counties. These young players are recommended by clubs across the whole of Devon.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
