PETERBOROUGH STREET PASTORS SCHEME
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 15 June 2022. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
With the support of the city council, police and other local agencies, Peterborough Street Pastors Scheme trains and resources volunteers from local churches who then go out in small teams, on a rotational basis, into the night time economy on Saturday evenings. The Street Pastors patrol Peterborough city centre helping and caring for people in practical ways.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
