TRANSITION TOWN CLITHEROE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 24 February 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Transition Town Clitheroe aims to provide support, practical assistance and advice to individuals and local groups who are working to create greater local resilience in the face of the twin global challenges of peak oil and climate change. This support includes education (films/workshops/talks/books/DVDs/trips/courses) and practical projects eg tree planting, food growing, renewable energy).
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
