SOUTHWARK CHILDREN'S BRASS BAND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 5 April 2022. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Operating in Southwark, the charity provides free access to children (aged 7 to 16) to learn music as part of a brass band, without barriers to entry and irrespective of family circumstance. It extends the experiences of children through music, with high quality group tuition, giving children transferable skills that will raise their self esteem, persistence, self assessment and social confidence.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
