PABALLONG UK TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 5 July 2023. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Since 2011, Paballong UK Trust has transferred nearly GBP40,000 to the Paballong Centre in Lesotho. These funds have been used for a wide range of projects, from building a new pharmacy, smokeless stoves, uniforms for children so they can go to primary school, solar batteries, new houses for destitute families, a solar powered vaccine fridge, a drip irrigation system, and World Aids Day Campaigns.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
