ASSOCIATION FOR REALISATION OF BASIC NEEDS UK
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 4 November 2025. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
ARBAN helps improve maternal and infant health in Jheelpur Slum. It operates a clinic in the slum where a full-time doctor is available to all local slum dwellers and where drugs are dispensed at minimum cost. All UK fund raising goes directly to supporting the slum clinic. Current fund raising includes sponsored runs, quiz nights, dinner /dances and regular personal and corporate donations.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
