THE DAVID FLETCHER MEMORIAL FUND
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 2 April 2019. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The organisation exists to provide support for young double bass players on the cusp of their professional careers. Double bassists aged 21-28 who are resident in the UK are eligible to apply for the support, which will take the form of grants awarded and/or the provision of services, facilities or professional work experience.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
