GIVE BEES A CHANCE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 5 February 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

GBAC has purchased five hives, as we are natural Bee Keepers and are fully registered. We have bought equipment and have spent the first season collecting swarms of bees from the general public who have contacted us. Currently we have well over 100,000 bees. A design for a bee sanctuary and teaching facility has been designed, and funding is actively sought.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
