BARNSLEY STREET PASTORS

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 1 December 2025. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We are part of the Nationwide Initiative of Street Pastors. We patrol the streets in the centre of Barnsley, between 10pm and 4am, every Saturday night, some Friday nights, and on various Bank Holidays. Our aim is to spread the Christian Gospel in a practical way by helping people who are: lost; in distress; injured; affected by alcohol or drugs; or who simply want someone to talk to.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
