AFRICAN INNOVATION PRIZE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 27 February 2019. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The African Innovation Prize (AIP) works to spur student innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa, through university-based business planning competitions. Through providing inspiration, entrepreneurship training and seed-funding, AIP allows students to test out new business ideas in a no-risk environment. AIP currently runs in 3 universities in Rwanda, and one in Sierra Leone.

About this record

The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
