CHRISTIAN DEBT LINE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 2 September 2013. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
To break the power of debt in peoples lives regardless of faith or belief. To teach people how to use money wisely, create and maintain household budgets. Dissolve distress caused by the pressure of debt by dealing directly with creditors for and on behalf of our clients. Provide free help and advice on how to defend against eviction and repossession from the family home.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
