EXETER COMMUNITY HOSPITAL LEAGUE OF FRIENDS

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 6 March 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The League of Friends provides extra comforts for patients at Exeter Community Hospital. It does this by recruiting, supporting and training volunteers to provide a mobile Trolley Shop to patients, befriending and reading to patients. The League also fundraises for extra equipment for the hospital.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
