DUNSTABLE FOODBANK
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 23 January 2026. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Dunstable Foodbank was established in September 2012 to provide emergency food for individuals and families who find themselves in sudden financial crisis. It operates as an independent charity but under the guidelines set out by the national Christian charity, the Trussell Trust, and is actively supported by churches in Dunstable and the surrounding villages.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
