7/7 TAVISTOCK SQUARE MEMORIAL TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 3 February 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The Trust has two principal activities. The first of which is to promote human rights, conflict resolution and reconciliation and religious and racial harmony by educating the public in such subjects through the conduit of an annual Lecture. Whilst the other is to campaign for, establish and maintain a public memorial in Tavistock Square to all those affected or lost as a result of the attack.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
