THE JAMIE DEVANEY MEMORIAL FUND

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 30 July 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Having completed the building of the new mental health centre at Kisiizi Hospital, Uganda, The Jamie Devaney Memorial Fund embarked on a new phase to support the development of community mental health outreach services. Initially this involved the hospitals in Bwindi, Kagando and Kisiizi but has now spread to 27 hospitals and health centres in the east, west and centre of the country.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
