STOP IVORY
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 7 January 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
STOP IVORY, in furtherance of its charitable objects, is working with governments, NGOs and experts in the private sector to gain commitment to, and achieve the implementation of, the Elephant Protection Initiative (an African-led approach to combat acute elephant poaching) across all African Elephant range States, making available to communities the benefits of thriving elephant populations.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
