NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR TEACHING ENGLISH AND OTHER COMMUNITY LANGUAGES TO ADULTS
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 30 August 2022. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
NATECLA is the national forum and independent professional organisation for teachers of ESOL and community languages. Activities include support for ESOL and community languages practitioners, provision of relevant, high-quality training and provision of expert advice to government bodies and other agencies. We campaign to promote ESOL and community languages throughout the UK.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
