AMIE INDEPENDENCE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 12 August 2016. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
To relieve the needs of people with disabilities and mental health problems, especially older people, in such ways as the trustees may from time to time decide. To enhance the development and education of children under school age parental skills to those in financial hardship.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
