NATIONAL CANCER RESEARCH INSTITUTE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 14 August 2026. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The advancement of health, in particular to promote and protect the health of the public by coordinating research into the causes, prevention, treatment and cure of all forms of cancer and into the needs of people affected by cancer. And to promote collaboration between cancer research funders in the UK to maximise the value and benefits of cancer research for the benefit of the public.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
