FRIENDS OF YOUNG ACHIEVERS

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 October 2019. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Friends of Young Achievers (FoYA) are a charity which was formed in May 2013. The charities aims are to improve the conditions of life for young people with disabilities, in the Black Country area. The group will engage with young people through recognised Award groups such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award, to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
