What it does
To advance the education of the general public in Ashburton and the surrounding area, in particular but not exclusively by supporting the provision of a lending library, by associating together in a common effort to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.
