OPEN DOOR GREATER MANCHESTER
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 17 March 2025. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Our charity is established to prevent or relieve poverty in the Greater Manchester area, through the provision of items such as food, clothes, bedding and providing advocacy, advice and information regarding housing/accommodation, rehabilitation, counselling and finance. These services are provided at street level to the homeless and destitute and any other person in need.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
