What it does
TO ASSIST IN THE TREATMENT & CARE OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILLNESS AS A RESULT OF ALCOHOL ADDICTION BY THE PROVISION OF COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT, IN PARTICULAR THE USE OF THE SINCLAIR METHOD. THE SINCLAIR METHOD IS A TREATMENT MEHOD WHICH USES THE NERVOUS SYSTEM'S OWN MECHANISM, CALLED 'EXTINCTION', FOR GRADUALLY REMOVING THE INTEREST IN ALCOHOL & BEHAVIOUR INVOLVED.
