SOMETHING CHRONIC: RE-IMAGINING CHRONIC PAIN THROUGH THE ARTS

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 12 November 2020. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We promote the social inclusion of people living with chronic pain in the UK who are excluded from society, or parts of society, due to the pain they suffer by using the arts to raise awareness of such conditions and to engage chronic pain sufferers in arts-based social activities assisting them to integrate into society. We hold events aimed at helping individuals reclaim their voice and bodies.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
