CHARING PALACE TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 25 August 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
Our aim is to save one of England's most important but endangered historical sites - the 1200 year-old former Archbishop's Palace at Charing in Kent. We are fund-raising to buy part of the Palace complex, restore and revive it, give it a sustainable future and provide an educational and cultural resource open to all. If unsuccessful funds raised will be put to similar heritage projects in Kent.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
