BELIVE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 20 February 2024. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
BELIVE is an independent befriending service with charity status, for local people with a mild-moderate learning disability aged 18 plus who live in Medway. It can either be face-face, telephone call or both depending on individual need, based on an assessment including a risk assessment. Referrals can be from professionals, other agencies-charities or direct from beneficiaries via our email.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
