THE CHURCH OF SCOTLAND LONDON ADVISORY SERVICE

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 17 January 2011. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

Borderline supports homeless and insecurely housed Scots in London. We help people find accommodation in London and specialise in resettling clients in Scotland. Borderline helps clients obtain birth certificates, helps find hostel rooms, and can access referrals to alcohol, drug and mental health services. We aim to help every client find secure, long-term accommodation.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
