HENLEY-IN-ARDEN WAR MEMORIAL TRUST

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 25 April 2022. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The principle responsibilities are to finance and manage The Memorial Hall and The Memorial Sports Grounds in Henley-in-Arden. We care for the sporting and cultural heritage of our town. We aim to provide sufficient funds and support to a wide range of organisations in the town who draw in young people and adults to take part in a wide range of activities.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
