THE NORTH WEST CANCER RESEARCH FUND EMBODYING FRIENDS OF LIVERPOOL RADIUM INSTITUTE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 8 January 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We raise funds to finance fundamental cancer research in our North West area which runs from Cumbria in the North, throughout Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire, Greater Manchester,North Staffordshire and in North and Mid-Wales as far South as Machynlleth. Our research is mostly carried out in our three centres of excellence at the University of Liverpool, Lancaster University and Bangor University.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
