THE GARDEN CITY LODGE BENEVOLENT FUND

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 February 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

We are a Masonic Lodge & do not seek Funding from other than our own Members. The money raised is from the members own efforts & pockets within our meetings. We distribute this money between Charitable organisations & Individuals as we feel it is needed. For a few examples, RNLI, Gosh, Cancer UK, Masonic Homes, also anyone we may find in need of assistance like the widows or disabled,

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
