JEFFERSON MEMORIAL TRUST
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 9 September 2015. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
A new Trustee has been added. Prof Ray McMahon is in charge of the undergraduate medical education of students based at Manchester Royal Infirmary/Central Manchester NHS Foundation Trust. Given the current financial circumstances funds from the Trust will be used to provide specific facilities or opportunities for individual students when needed in order for them to continue with their studies.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
