MISSIONARY SISTERS OF OUR LADY OF AFRICA (ALSO KNOWN AS THE WHITE SISTERS)
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 13 June 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The charity is set up to fund and support the Missionary activities of the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa. This is currently done by providing three Sisters to work abroad, by looking after and providing for the retired and infirm Sisters on their return from Africa and by promoting an awareness of the mission in Africa through our newsletter.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
