THE CHARITY OF THE CONGREGATION OF OUR LADY, CANONESSES OF ST AUGUSTINE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 24 July 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The objectives of the Charity are religious and charitable and educational in the widest sense, with an emphasis on the promotion of justice. The advanced age of most of the Sisters means that their work is mainly voluntary but it is carried out in many different sectors.
In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.
About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
