CHARITY OF MRS ELIZABETH COOK

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 4 May 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The income of some -ú19 a year goes into the funds of the Parochial Church Council of Holy Trinity in Cambridge. It is spent on maintaining the fabric of the church building, as long as the PCC of St Andrew the Great do not request funds to maintain the graves of the Cook family in their church.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers.
