ASSOCIATION OF NORTHUMBERLAND LOCAL HISTORY SOCIETIES
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 12 January 2017. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
The Association is an umbrella-organisation for local history societies in Northumberland. It produces an annual journal, 'Tyne and Tweed'; provides support and advice for people interested in the history of the ancient county of Northumberland; organises an annual Day School and encourages societies to organise an annual event entitled 'Round the County'.

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
