HOYLAKE AND DISTRICT COUNCIL FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICE
This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 12 February 2010. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does
We act as local infrastructure organisation for the voluntary and community sectors, and we run a Volunteer Centre. We also run a range of direct care services for older and disabled people, under the umbrella title of Carelink, and holiday activites for children. From 1st April 2008 we became part of Voluntary and Community Action Wirral (VCAW).

About this record
From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
