AMERSHAM HOSPITAL LEAGUE OF FRIENDS

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 10 January 2012. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

The League of Friends raises funds by subscriptions, donations and fund-raising activities in order to buy furniture and equipment, and provide facilities, to enhance the comfort of patients during their visits to Amersham Hospital and of other members of the local community in need.

In the charity's own words, as filed with the Commission.

About this record

From the Charity Commission's register of England and Wales, republished nightly under the Open Government Licence. The Commission does not regulate Scotland or Northern Ireland, which keep their own registers. Figures are as the charity last filed them, not as audited by us — browse the whole register, including the charities removed from it.
