THE ISLES OF SCILLY MUSEUM ASSOCIATION

This charity is no longer on the register, removed on 19 July 2021. A removal is usually a charity that wound up, merged, or fell below the income threshold, and is not in itself a finding against anyone — but an appeal still quoting this number today is quoting a charity the Commission no longer registers.

What it does

As an all-weather facility The Isles of Scilly Museum plays an important part in island tourism. But its main function is as a community museum providing a safe haven for artefacts and documents relating to the social, domestic and maritime history of Scilly. It is the only accredited museum in the islands. It has an important audio-visual archive and an active family history group.
