What it does
Training, guiding and encouraging archaeologists and historians. Organising talks, meetings, exhibitions and field trips. Publishing approved research. Maintaining a museum collection of items of archaeological and local history interest and an appropriate reference library. Supporting and encouraging members in carrying out research projects.
